The project PARICHAI envisaged with an objective to provide effective and efficient Government service to citizens. It will help departments create an authentic and de-duplicated data repository for their beneficiaries. This will support Government Departments towards better planning and monitoring of schemes and shall provide a platform for Aadhaar enabled service delivery to the State Government Departments. The MP PARICHAI is working as project under Madhya Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation (MPSEDC) Limited, which is a government of Madhya Pradesh undertaking under Department of Science and Technology. MPSEDC is aadhaar authentication agency (AUA) and provides aadhaar authentication services to various departments of government of Madhya Pradesh in MP PARICHAI project.
Project Details
Brief Background
Aadhaar authentication ecosystem has a provision wherein any agency seeking to conduct Aadhaar authentication of its customers/associates etc. for service delivery can engage with an existing AUA (Authentication User Agency). Any agency, which enters into an agreement with AUA is defined as sub-AUA. MPSEDC as AUA has been a Global AUA with an agreement with UIDAI.
Objective
Aadhaar authentication is the process wherein Aadhaar number, along with other attributes (demographic/biometrics/OTP) is submitted to UIDAI's Central Identities Data Repository (CIDR) for verification; the CIDR verifies whether the data submitted matches the data available in CIDR and responds with a "yes/no". No personal identity information is returned as part of the response. The purpose of Authentication is to enable residents to prove their identity and for service providers to confirm that the residents are 'who they say they are' in order to supply services and give access to benefits.
