Project Details
Brief Background
Department of Information Technology, Govt. of Madhya Pradesh has adopted the e-tendering System in 2006. The Project being a BOT Project implemented as "No Cost to GoMP" commenced through MP Government Order No. F3-3/2004/56 dated 07th Sept 2006. Further, Government of Madhya Pradesh through an order No. F/3-3/2004/56 dated 24.04.2012 appointed MPSEDC, a corporation under the Department of Information Technology, Government of Madhya Pradesh, as the Nodal Agency for MP e-procurement project.
Objective
The system typically includes various features to streamline the procurement process, such as:
- Secure user authentication and access controls to ensure that only authorized users can access the system.
- Automated notifications to keep buyers and suppliers informed about important dates and deadlines related to the tendering process.
- Online tender document management to enable buyers to upload tender documents and make them available to suppliers in a secure manner.
- Electronic bid submission to enable suppliers to submit their bids online and receive immediate confirmation of their submission.
- Online bid evaluation tools to allow buyers to evaluate bids and proposals electronically, using predefined criteria and scoring mechanisms.
- Collaboration and communication tools to facilitate interactions between buyers and suppliers during the procurement process.

Implementation Methodology
MPSEDC has worked on value added services and provided Dashboard facility for departments to review their eTender process performance.
