SUGAM YATRA is a Comprehensive System to enhance the operations of the state transport undertaking. This system serves as a centralized platform used by administrators, service delivery channels, and operational managers to provide both integrated and individual services efficiently. Built on open standards and international protocols, the system is designed to continually add services and scale with future innovations. The system encompasses various sub-modules, such as Depot Fleet Operations, Human Resource Management, Asset & Inventory Management, Fleet Maintenance, Fuel & Charging Management, and more. Each module is interconnected using well-defined data exchange protocols, ensuring a seamless flow of information. The system follows a modular design approach that supports scalability and future innovation without significant changes to the architecture. The core of the solution is a web-based application accessible from any device with proper credentials, including mobile platforms like iOS and Android. The system emphasizes data security, integrity, and flexibility, ensuring that users have role-based access while maintaining encrypted data transmission. The application also incorporates a dynamic database structure, customizable to the specific requirements of UPSRTC. Additionally, the system offers real-time and static data displays for effective decision-making, supports automated data storage processes, and ensures compliance with the data retention policies of the organization. It is designed to deliver a seamless, branded user interface in line with UPSRTC's requirements.

The primary objective of this project is to undertake a data-led transformation exercise and enable all the processes in the depot level administrative and operation segment through the implementation of Citizen Centric Services for Passengers. Based on the findings from the existing operational and administrative process at UPSRTC and referring to the guideline document of MoRTH UPSRTC formulated an approach focusing on the above identified measures which were in alignment with the ?ITS Project? agreed upon under the framework of Intergovernmental Cooperation which focuses on major four objectives. With the focus on the identified objectives as follow: ? To create the data-led and process co-operative structure for administrative and operational departments between Central office Regions and Depot levels ? Ushering in Transparency & Accountability between the different stakeholders ? Better service delivery channel for UPSRTC ? Improve the Efficiency in Depot Administration ? Improvement of operational performance ? To move towards a paperless regime ? Computerize and automate all its functions related depot operations. ? Focusing on the reduction of the gap between CPKM and EPKM by improving the fuel efficiencyBenefits
The following benefits are envisaged through the scope of this project in context of UPSRTC?s operational Profiles: ? Make all the functions and processes of the public transport administration business and operations transparent ? Reduction in turnaround time of each bottleneck in depot operations ? Equal accountable of all stakeholders with data-led technology enabled framework ? Increase the operational efficiency and resource optimizationImplementation Methodology
