Uttar Pradesh a digitally active state and for the technical empowerment of the youth of the state, the Govt. of UP has decided to distribute tablets/smartphones to the students of different sections of the state.
Project Details
Brief Background
To technically empower the youths of Uttar Pradesh the Government of Uttar Pradesh has launched DigiShakti Scheme under which Tablet PCs and Smartphones will be distributed to the students studying in various Educational Institutions of UP and any other stakeholders selected by GoUP for the academic year 21-22. In addition to distribution of devices the educational and career related content would be provided to the beneficiaries under this scheme for their empowerment.
Objective
The tablets/smartphones will help in spreading awareness about the various developmental schemes and programs of the government among the students. Various other information and updates will also be shared with them from time to time.
Benefits
Information about classes syllabus etc. will also be provided to the students through flash messages by the concerned university/college/institution. Material of various educational programs will also be provided to the students.
