Brief Background
The Online Performance Appraisal Report (PAR) system in Mizoram was introduced to modernize and streamline the performance evaluation process for government employees. Prior to its implementation performance appraisals were largely manual time-consuming and prone to inconsistencies. The government aimed to enhance transparency efficiency and accountability in the appraisal process by leveraging digital technology. The online system enables employees to complete self-assessments while evaluators can provide structured feedback and make informed decisions. By integrating secure data handling and user-friendly interfaces the PAR system supports better management of employee performance and contributes to the overall development of human resources within the state.
