Brief Background
The FishInfo application portal was developed by the Mizoram State e-Governance Society (MSeGS) for the Fisheries Department to automate essential processes through information technology. This system digitizes the registration verification and documentation of beneficiaries transforming them into an efficient workflow managed entirely by the application. Notably it allows the Fisheries Department to verify fish ponds using Google Maps reducing the need for physical site visits.
