Brief Background

With the rise in infrastructure development, commercial projects, and industrialization, the demand for licensed electrical contractors has significantly increased in Madhya Pradesh. Electrical contractors play a critical role in ensuring that electrical installations, wiring, and maintenance adhere to safety standards and government regulations. Previously, the application process for obtaining an electrical contractor license involved manual submissions, which often resulted in delays, miscommunication, and inefficiencies.

To address these challenges, the Electrical Contractor License Application Portal was introduced as part of the state’s e-governance initiatives. By digitizing the licensing process, the portal simplifies the workflow for contractors while ensuring adherence to safety and legal requirements.
