Brief Background

Municipalities in Madhya Pradesh are responsible for providing essential services such as sanitation, water supply, property management, and public infrastructure maintenance. However, disputes often arise related to property taxes, encroachments, building permissions, and civic grievances. To address these challenges and improve the efficiency of municipal dispute resolution, the government launched the Municipal Case Management System – Sugam Application. This initiative integrates modern technology into the legal framework of municipal governance, promoting accountability and faster resolution of cases.
