This portal supports artisans, craftsmen, and suppliers associated with Madhya Pradesh’s vibrant handloom and handicraft sector by offering them access to government procurement opportunities. The platform ensures transparent, efficient, and fair procurement practices, providing rural artisans with a larger market reach and enabling the government to source high-quality traditional products.

Brief Background

Madhya Pradesh is renowned for its rich heritage in handicrafts and handloom, with artisans producing a variety of traditional goods such as textiles, pottery, jewelry, and more. The Hasht Shilp Vikas Nigam is responsible for promoting and preserving these traditional art forms while supporting artisans' livelihoods. In order to enhance market access and provide transparent procurement channels for these artisans, the eProcurement Portal was launched. This initiative not only aids in preserving the state’s cultural heritage but also ensures that artisans receive fair prices for their products while participating in government procurement processes.
