Brief Background
The OBC Certificate is issued to individuals belonging to the Other Backward Classes (OBC) category by the District Administrative Centers in Sikkim.
Objective
To enable individuals belonging from the Other Backward Classes (ST) category to apply for their OBC Certificate online through the Sikkim GO Portal using the Single SignOn functionality.
Benefits
Simplifies the application process, enabling users to easily submit their application and receive their certificates without the need for the applicant to physically visit the concerned office
Implementation Methodology
The applicant creates an account in the Sikkim GO portal and applies for the service. The issuing office verifies the application and the uploaded documents and delivers the certificate online.
