The Mukhyamantri Seekho Kamao Yojana (Chief Minister Learn and Earn Scheme) in Madhya Pradesh is an initiative launched to address unemployment and skill gaps among the state's youth. The scheme aims to equip young people with vocational skills and provide them with practical work experience, enabling them to become more employable in various sectors.

Objective

·       Skill Development and Training: The scheme offers training in a wide range of industries, including IT, manufacturing, healthcare, retail, and others, aligning with market demand.

·       Earn While You Learn: Under the scheme, beneficiaries are provided with a stipend during their training period, allowing them to earn while they acquire new skills.

·       Target Group: The scheme primarily targets unemployed youth, typically aged 18 to 35, particularly from economically weaker sections, to improve their chances of finding sustainable employment.

·       Partnership with Industries: The government collaborates with private companies, industries, and vocational training institutes to provide on-the-job training to beneficiaries, ensuring that the skills acquired are industry-relevant.

·       Focus on Employment: Upon successful completion of the training, many participants are absorbed into full-time jobs, helping reduce unemployment and underemployment in the state.
