The Digital File Tracking System was developed to monitor the pendency of receipts and files and assist in their easy tracking.
Project Details
Brief Background
It is an integrated package which has features to record receipts/files, updating its status,opening of new files, tracking the movement of the files, dispatch of letters/files and finally records management.
Objective
The main objective of the system is to alleviate the complex process of managing thousands of files that may be circulating in a department.
• This enables users to track the history of a file, including who has accessed the file, when it was accessed, and what changes were made.
• It also allows administrators to view who has access to a particular file or folder
• It enables users to receive notifications when a file is changed or updated
• You can despatch a file and track it to other departments and they will be able acquire those files into their department
• The software has features enables users to search for files based on keywords, file type, date, and other criteria. This makes it easy to locate specific files quickly.
