Brief Background

Every year during winter season in Ladakh when temperatures go as low as -30 degree celsius, the road connectivity from Kargil gets choked due to heavy snow thereby making it impossible for citizens travelling from/to Kargil to use road transport. The Administration of UT of Ladakh runs AN-32 Kargil Plane service with Indian Air Force to ply citizens between Kargil to Jammu/Srinagar.  The vision behind AN-32 Kargil Courier Service Booking platform was to provide an end-to-end, fully automated, seamless and digital e-service delivery platform that helps Citizens using AN-32 Kargil Courier Service with maximum ease.

To provide Citizens an end-to-end, fully automated, seamless and digital e-service delivery platform that helps Citizens using Helicopter Service with maximum ease via direct online, cloud-based ticket booking platform usable from any device.

Benefits

In addition to improving communication and accessibility to isolated and difficult-to-reach places in the area, the Ladakh Heli Service has several other advantages. It offers a faster means of transportation, greatly cutting down on journey time through Ladakh's difficult terrain. By enabling travelers to visit remote but picturesque sites, the service promotes tourism and strengthens the local economy. It is also essential for disaster management and emergency medical evacuations, guaranteeing prompt assistance and support in dire circumstances. It also promotes infrastructure growth and easier transportation for goods and government personnel.

Implementation Methodology

The deployment process for the Ladakh Heli Service online application is built to create a smooth and user-friendly platform.
