Brief Background
Government of Tripura desired to have a digital solution to manage Inventory of departments. The SCMS application was designed to address that requirement.
Objective
SCMS was developed keeping in mind the following objectives - An end to end solution to manage material flow using digital platform.

Inventory Management & Distribution of material,Timely Issue using FIFO mechanism,Local Purchase & Supply Order Generation on the basis of Demand,Material Locator,User management.
Implementation Methodology
SCMS follows a Maker, Checker, Approver workflow. Development is going on to integrate with Government eProcurement System of NIC-GePNIC.Implementing Agency Details
