The system is designed to provide "information at your doorstep," eliminating the need for physical movement by the public. The citizen can file the RTI application on Jaankari Web Portal. The portal has such functionalities as online Application filing, online Payments, online status update by Department, facility for applicant to check the status of the Application, filing of First Appeal, Second Appeal as well as email / SMS notification. The RTI application can be filed using phone call, the user call on Premium Number 155311 and Rs. 10 will be deducted from his balance. Once the call lands at the call centre, the call centre executive records the calling number and enters the same into the web application. Each of the call center executive (CCE) will have his or her own login to create an RTI application.

Objective
Objective of this assignment is to strengthen the functioning of Jaankari arrangement and to bringfollowing valuable changes in the process of filing a RTI.
