Panchayat and Rural Development Department of Madhya Pradesh in collaboration with NIC Madhya Pradesh have designed and developed "Panchayat Darpan Portal".
The initiative was aimed at creation of a common & integrated e-Governance platform for grass root level institutions i.e. Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs). It aims at transforming the functioning of Panchayats to make it more accountable, creditable & transparent using a judicious mix of ICT interventions and process simplification / transformations.
Project Details
Brief Background
Darpan API is a Web API project which provides a number of APIs that are consumed preliminary by Panchayat Darpan Mobile App and other state government departments.
A number of APIs have been designed to exchange the data of below modules:
1.HR Management Data
2. e-Payment and Expenditure related data of PRIs
3. Funds/ Receipt data
Objective
To obtain the foloowing -
Geo-tagging of Works Management, Work Status Update, Register Tax Assessment Collection Details, Register Receipt of Funds, Register Meetings/ Gram Sabha, Registration of Assets, View Reports,Register Receipt of Funds, Register Meetings/ Gram Sabha, View Reports.
Benefits
1.Through the “Panchayat Darpan” portal and mobile app, the complete profile of any district, district or village panchayat can be easily viewed on your mobile phone.
2.Details of every expenditure including bank passbook of Jila Panchayat, Janpad Panchayat and Gram Panchayat are displayed in the public domain. Besides, information about each bill paid by the Panchayat and a digital photocopy of the bill is also available.
3. Scheme wise, item wise income and expenditure details remain updated.
Implementation Methodology
1.First of all, login credentials of all the Panchayats will be created.2. All panchayat officials can access the portal usin their credential.
