Government of Madhya Pradesh has developed the CSR portal to act as a one stop solution for stakeholders involved with CSR related activities in the state. It will provide a platform for end users to provide feedback, select projects to invest in and interact with other stakeholders. To summarize, the CSR portal of GoMP will achieve the following requirements:
- Provide a platform for information dissemination to stakeholders.
- Facilitate CSR promotion by providing information on achievements/ events/ activities like CSR Awards and Success Stories, among others.
- Provide information on rules and regulations with respect to CSR.
- Provide platform for collaboration among various stakeholders involved in CSR activities.
- Provide details of credible organizations and implementation partners for corporates to collaborate.
- Provide information on companies carrying out CSR activities in the state.
- Provide information about ongoing and completed CSR projects in the state.
Project Details
Brief Background
The Government of India mandated CSR through the Companies Act, 2013, requiring corporations to contribute a portion of their profits toward social development. Madhya Pradesh, in line with this national policy, launched the CSR Portal to ensure greater transparency, coordination, and impact of CSR activities within the state. The portal was developed as a response to the growing need for a centralized system where corporations can report their CSR projects, and the government can identify potential areas of development.

- Standardized Reporting Formats: The portal implements standardized templates for CSR project submissions, funding reports, and progress updates to ensure uniformity.
- Collaboration with Government Departments: CSR activities are aligned with state and district-level development plans, ensuring that projects contribute to identified socio-economic priorities.
- Monitoring and Evaluation: A robust tracking and evaluation mechanism is embedded in the portal, enabling the government and stakeholders to monitor project implementation and assess their social impact.
- Continuous Updates: The portal is regularly updated to integrate new features and insights based on user feedback and evolving CSR norms.
