District level authorized agencies lift the grain from the designated Godowns as per the allotment made to FPS using the Supply Chain Management (SCM) Software. Truck challans generated for the wheat to be lifted from Godowns for respective FPS as per route optimisation. Lifting details are communicated to the FPSs through SMS. Allotment, Lifting and distribution of wheat at the FPSs through PoS devices monitored through SCM system by DSOs/District Administration/State Food Nigam/FCI.

Allocation of wheat to FPS was manual and the process of allotment, lifting and distribution of grain was not transparent
Objective
Online allocation of wheat to the Fair Price Shops for keeping the complete account of wheat from alottment to distribution to beneficiary.
