NirmanShramik serves as the digital platform for the Odisha Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (OB & OCWWB). Brief Background
The Odisha Building and other Construction workers welfare Board was constituited on 03.01.2004 u/s 18 of the Building and other Construction workers (RE & CS) Act,1996.The Board has its own fund In shape of Odisha Building and other construction worker's welfare Fund under the rule 263 of the Odisha Building and other construction workers(RE & CS) Rules,2002.Objective
This platform automates various activities carried out by OB & OCWWB, including the registration of construction workers, the disbursement of benefits, and the collection of cess. By leveraging technology, NirmanShramik ensures a completely paperless process, where applications are submitted, processed, and approved or rejected 100% online. Registration certificates are issued exclusively with digital signatures. Additionally, all output reports contain QR codes, enabling other organization to check the sanctity of certificates issued from OB & OCWWB.
Through the online facility, individuals can track the status of their submitted applications and provide clarifications requested by the department, if necessary. Regular updates on application status changes are communicated to applicants through SMS, email, and portal notifications. Moreover, the application is seamlessly integrated with more than 10 external applications, including SMS gateways, email gateways, Odisha One, MO-SARKAR, Scholarship Portal, WAMIS, UBI and SBI, ensuring a smooth and streamlined experience for users.
