1. Aadhaar authentication services(AUA/ASA services): Aadhaar Authentication means the process by which the Aadhaar number along with the Aadhaar holder's personal identity data such as biometric/demographic information is submitted to UIDAI (Central Identities Data Repository-CIDR) for matching, following which the UIDAI verifies the correctness thereof on the basis of the match with the Aadhaar holder's identity information available with it. The purpose of Authentication is to enable Aadhaar-holders to prove their identity and for service providers to confirm the resident's identity claim in order to provide services and give access to benefits. 2. eSign Service: ): eSign is an online service that can be integrated within various service delivery applications via an open API to facilitate digitally signing a document by an Aadhaar holder. It is designed for applying Digital Signature using authentication of consumer through Aadhaar authentication and e-KYC service. 3. NameMatcher: Namescape is a Tool used for comparison of String to String, 4. Transliteration: Transliteration is used for Transliteration of words.
Project Details
Brief Background
CeG through implementation of Karnataka Resident Data Hub (KRDH) has intended to offer various Aadhaar related authentication and e-Sign service NameMatcher and Transliteration services to Departments of Karnataka State. CeG KRDH as the nodal agency for Aadhaar related services in the state and intends to maintain the technical expertise required for assisting the departments in using Aadhaar and its related services and other services and also in the complete end to end integration process

Aadhaar Authentication:The purpose of Authentication is to enable Aadhaar-holders to prove their identity and for service providers to confirm the resident s identity claim in order to provide services and give access to benefits. eSign:Easy and secure way to digitally sign information anywhere anytime Facilitates legally valid signatures Flexible and easy to implement Namescape tool is used to compare the name of the beneficiary in his/her Aadhaar with his/her name in the beneficiary list. .The software contains functions namely string to string comparison bulk string to string comparison for English to Kannada names and vice versa. Transliteration has some attractive features like number to text transliteration abbreviations and transliteration of complex English words to Kannada.
