Brief Background

According to the data collected during a survey for preparing the Annual Status of Education Report (ASER) 2020 as much as 68.60% of the households in Karnataka have smartphones. The wireless technology is one such disruptive technology that has the potential to establish new paradigm in Government service delivery. To graduate to the next level in the evolutionary process of delivering services to the residents and to make the state vision of Any Time Anywhere and Any Device delivery of Government services a reality a Unified Mobile Service Delivery Platform was created to provide various citizen-centric services on mobile.

Objective

a. Multi-channel Delivery: Support access via smartphones feature phones and web-based portals. b. Simplify Governance: Provide citizens a single platform to access multiple government services. c. Transparency and Accountability: Ensure public service delivery meets deadlines and can be tracked. d. Promote E-Governance: Encourage digital interactions to improve service efficiency. e. Inclusion: Bridge the digital divide offering services to rural and urban citizens equally.
