Brief Background
The Karnataka Web Portal project initiated by the Centre for e-Governance aims to design develop maintain and update websites for various government departments secretariats commissionerates authorities and other agencies. The web portal team also trains officials to ensure their websites are consistently updated. All websites are designed in accordance with the Government of India?s guidelines on usability user-centricity and Accessibility standards like WCAG are considered to ensure the portal is usable by individuals with disabilities. as well as recommendations from the Kannada Abhivrudhi Pradhikara.Objective
