The UUCMS will Digitize the activities of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs). Everything from admissions and examinations to awarding degrees will be done within UUCMS. We have also included features like class monitoring,lesson plans,and student attendence capture in UUCMS. Even Faculty management features like performance assessment and promotion are included in UUCMS.

Brief Background
Higher Education department envisaged to have a unified platform for all the Universities of the state which will provide facility to manage online the key activities such as Affiliation Admission Academics Examination HRM Finance Asset and R&D.
Objective
A first of its kind in the country the Unified University & College Management System (UUCMS) is a flagship project envisioned by the Department of Higher Education Government of Karnataka. The UUCMS unifies and integrates the functioning and the governance of all collages and public universities in the state bringing all of them under one umbrella.
Benefits
1. Savings to Department since launch of UUCMS is Rs. 450 Crores. 2. 33 Universities 3500+ Colleges on Unified platform using standard processes for Affiliation Admission Academics and Examination. 3. Authentic Data of 15+ Lakhs Students available due to Integrations like Aadhaar PU Board AJSK SSP NAD PayGov K-GIS.
Implementation Methodology
Implemented in a phased manner. Admission module rolled out in Aug 2021 to 24 Universities initially then Academics and Examination modules rolled out in 2022 finally the remaining modules rolled out in 2023. Presently 33 Universities of the State are onboarded.Implementing Agency Details
