Brief Background
The process of submission of applications processing issuing of policies and maintaining a statement of payments and reconciliation are currently handled manually. A certain level of automation has been achieved by digitization of data. However such automation is limited to isolated systems and unable to be shared and updated in an integrated manner. The department needs an integrated solution which can automate the application process payment of premium / instalments reconciliation processing of claims and other related functions of the department.Objective
To provide seamless online services to the Government Employees regarding their Insurance details Loan and Maturity Claims. Also provide online facility for Government Vehicle Insurance and Renewal including Online Payment facility.Benefits
1. Loan disbursement within 3 days as compared to 15+ days earlier. 2. Claim settlement within 4 days as compared to 45+ days earlier. 3. 13.63 Lakhs+ policies 9 Crores+ Premium and EMI payment data 17.69 Lakhs+ Loans & 6.08 Lakhs+ Loan closures & Cash payments digitized and managed. 4. More than 5 Lakh employees Life Insurance Loans & Claims (Maturity Death & Surrender) 40 000+ Government Vehicle Insurance managed online.Implementation Methodology
