RCMS basically deals in all the services related to Ration Cards. All capabilities to generate new ration cards or to modify/modify existing ration cards. It is multilingual and facilitates to keep data-log of all activities and audit as per requirement in time. The software also has facility to transmit data to IMPDS, Central Grievance Portal and NFSA Portal in a pre-scheduled manner. Facility to prevent ration beneficiaries from making false ration cards by checking Aadhaar at the national level at the time of application is very important.

The ePDS data for Chandigarh has been Migrated to RCMS and RCMS is implemented in Chandigarh in the month of December 2022.
Objective
Enrolment under DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer) Scheme Modification / deletion / addition in family and to ensure efficient transfer of food subsidy in lieu of raw food grains to eligible beneficiaries under DBT scheme.
Benefits
To ensure all eligible beneficiaries of Chandigarh get the National Food Security Act (NFSA) benefits.
