Brief Background

As Chandigarh is a DBT State, there was no regular physical verification of the beneficiaries that were registered initially under NFSA. Thus, department wanted to initiate eKYC process in order to verify the registered beneficiaries. Thus an application was developed by NIC Hyderabad to cater to the requirement in coordination with RCMS Delhi team.

Benefits

Bogus cards/ ineligible individuals can be verified and deleted as per the exclusion criteria of department.

Implementation Methodology

An application was developed by NIC Hyderabad to cater to the requirement in coordination with RCMS Delhi team. Department officials are going to various areas and organizing camps for eKYC of the beneficiaries.
