Established in 2007, MEPMA focuses on formulating strategies to implement poverty reduction programs in urban areas, with a vision to improve the quality of life for all urban poor families through self-managed institutions.

To enable the urban poor, particularly the poorest of the poor, to eliminate poverty and vulnerability in a sustainable manner and improve their quality of life in urban areas.
