The GramaOne project establishes GramaOne centers to provide a single point of assistance for diverse citizen-centric activities in rural areas.

These centers offer G2C services, banking facilities, RTI queries, Ab-PMJAY card, AADHAR services, PMFBY, labor bus pass, PAN Card, and pension schemes, enhancing accessibility and efficiency at the village level.

·         Rural citizens had to travel to nearby cities/towns for G2C/B2C services.

·         Limited capability of rural citizens to access electronic services.

·         Dependency on intermediaries for service access in rural areas.

  • Franchisees equipped with software applications to facilitate diverse services.
  • Services include Aadhar, PMFBY, PMJAY, improving accessibility and efficiency in rural areas.

Implementation Methodology

  1. PPP Model: Grama One centers are established under a Public-Private Partnership model.
  2. Cost-Effective: The project incurs no cost burden on the government, promoting fiscal efficiency.
  3. Economic Opportunities: It creates earning opportunities at the village level through center setups.
  4. Extended Operational Hours: All Grama One centers operate from 8 AM to 8 PM every day of the week.
  5. District Administration Oversight: Centers are selected and controlled by the District administration.
  6. Service Quality Assurance: Well-defined SOPs, SLAs, and agreements ensure efficient service delivery.
