This is a pension given to the widows.A total of 10,000 widows will be benefited from Manipur Vidhwa Pension Yojana and Rs. 500 will be provided to each widow beneficiary every month.

Brief Background
Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh has launched CM Widow Pension Scheme on 2 November 2021.
Objective
The objective of the scheme is to provide social security by way of financial assistance to widows in the age group of 18-40 years as this group is not getting benefits under the Indira Gandhi National Widow Pension Scheme.
Benefits
The financial assistance will be at the rate of ₹ 2,000/- per annum per widow. The scheme will cover all the eligible beneficiaries within the State of Manipur.
