Bihar Bhawan is the official state mission of Government of Bihar in New Delhi to maintaining a statutory representation in the National Capital, liaison with the federal Government on behalf of the Government of the state and to connect with the Bihari Diaspora in the national capital. It is also the official home away for the Chief Minister of Bihar and other dignitaries of the state government visiting New Delhi for administrative purposes. Recently, this statehouse in the capital served a charioteer during the corona lockdown as it was operational 24x7 to reaching out, assisting and helping millions of migrants of Bihar who were stranded in various Indian parts.

Objective
Bihar Bhawan is situated in Lutyen&rsquo s Delhi at Kautilya Marg in Chanakyapuri New Delhi. The state liaison center is administered and controlled by the Resident Commissioner under the administrative control of the General Administration Department Govt. of Bihar. Several other offices of Government of Bihar in Delhi are also controlled and administered by the office of Bihar Bhawan. It includes Tourism department Industry department Bihar Information Center and Bihar Niwas.
Benefits
Bihar Diwas and Trade Fair Exhibition at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi are two major events maneuvered by Bihar Bhawan with the support and assistance of the Industry Department of the Bihar. Diaspora of the Bihar in Delhi celebrates &lsquo Bihar Diwas&rsquo by organizing cultural extravaganzas involving participation in large numbers. The State Government of Bihar also organizes Bihar Utsav to commemorate Bihar&rsquo s Foundation Day. Bihar Utsav is marked as a cultural fest that embraces and displays the art culture and social heritage of Bihar at Dilli Haat in Delhi.
Implementation Methodology
The Resident Commissioner (RC) of Bihar Bhawan is the authorized representative of State in the National capital who ensures possible liaison between the government of State and the government in the Centre and between the State Government and several diplomatic guild and associations.
